Iran short film ‘Retouch’ has been scheduled to go on silver screen at the 19th edition of Maryland Int’l Film Festival in the US.
Directed by Kaveh Mazaheri, ‘Retouch’ is to attend the competition section of the American film event.
Co-produced by Kaveh Mazaheri and the Iranian Young Cinema Society, ‘Retouch’ tells the story of a young woman whose husband dies before her eyes while she cannot do anything but to witness the unfolding of this tragic event.
'Retouch' has recently won a series of top prizes from other international festivals, including the 4th Short Movie Club Film Festival in Belarus, the 9th session of Cinalfama Lisbon’s International Film Festival in Portugal, the 16th Audi Dublin International Film Festival in Ireland and the 14th edition of TALCA International Short Film Festival in Chile.
Founded in 1999, the Maryland Film Festival is an annual five-day international film event taking place each May in Baltimore, Maryland. The festival presents international film and video work of all lengths and genres.
The 19th edition of the event is slated for May 3-7, 2018.
